Gloria Andrada
Gloria Andrada is a research fellow at the Lisbon Mind and Reasoning Group.
She completed her PhD on extended cognition and extended knowledge at the Autonomous University of Madrid in June 2020. Before that, she graduated in Philosophy from the Autonomous University of Madrid and obtained a Master's degree in Cognitive Science and Language from the University of Barcelona. She has been a visiting PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, Macquarie University and the University of Glasgow.
Her research focuses on understanding our nature as epistemic agents. She is currently working on knowledge-how and the bearing that new emerging digital technologies have on our skills and abilities. She is also applying results on the nature of our cognitive systems from a 4E cognition perspective to contemporary challenges in education, learning and intellectual flourishing.
